Photograph details
All photographs are shot on 35mm
Fujichrome "Velvia" transperancy (slide,
or positive) 50 speed film often using a tripod
or handy rock, no colour filters are used or touching
up of colours in a "digital darkroom."
I do use a polarising filter occasionally when
shooting in brighter light conditions, i.e. mountain
shots.
High resolution scans are taken
from the developed slides and then pigment ink
reproductions onto archival watercolour and velvet
fine art paper are printed using an Epson Stylus
Professional 4000. I also produce all photos onto
an archival canvas which is stretched and sprayed
with protective vanish and then can be hung directly
without framing.
Photographs come in the following
sizes, 200mm x 300mm and 280mm x 440mm on the
watercolour and art papers,(actual photo not frame
size). 250mm x 380mm and 350mm x 540mm on the
stretched canvas.
Photographs are colour/lightfast
for 75 plus years when framed (and not hung in
direct sunlight). Canvas Photos colour/lastfast
for 30+ years.
